All Voices Films is an evolving creative practice that creates emotional space for filmmakers, artists, and storytellers who want to explore meaningful and culturally grounded approaches to storytelling through reflection, cross-cultural dialogue, and artistic curiosity.

our
VISION

My vision for All Voices Films is to invite filmmakers — aspiring, emerging, or in transition — to explore stories, culture, memory, and identity through film, while reimagining filmmaking as a space for dialogue, experimentation, reflection, and collective growth.

our mission

My mission is to connect with artists and storytellers interested in collaboration, co-creation, and exploring new possibilities in visual storytelling through cross-cultural, decolonised, and experimental approaches to filmmaking beyond conventional narrative practice. It is an ambiguous space, but one filled with great potential when creative people come together with a willingness to embrace uncertainty.

Meet Indrani Kopal

I am a documentary filmmaker, editor, and educator with over 15 years of experience working across documentary and television projects. Before filmmaking, I spent six years as a video journalist with Malaysiakini, an experience that deeply shaped my interest in social issues, cultural identity, and underrepresented voices. My films include She’s My Son, The Game Changer, Teacher, the Tradition Bearer, and Incarcerated Rhythm, which have screened at international festivals including Cannes Short Film Corner and Harlem Film Festival. I hold an MFA in Documentary Production from Hofstra University and an MA in Screen Business from AFTRS. I currently serve as Discipline Lead in Editing at AFTRS in Sydney, where I continue to support emerging filmmakers and storytellers.
